Kim Archibald Obituary
KIM ARCHIBALD Kim Estelle Moore Archibald was born to Norma Lee and Glenn Emmett Moore on February 14, 1952 in Chico, CA where she lived for most of her life, punctuated with fun stays in SF and other fun 70's locales! She joined her son, Bryan, and other family and friends in Heaven on November 5, 2015. Kim attended Sierra View and Bidwell Junior - where she was the school mascot due to her spunky personality- and PV High School. She graduated from Chico State with a BA degree in Recreation. Post college Kim always enjoyed employment in which she helped others. She worked in the medical field and with the developmentally disabled, truly loving her career. Kim's marriage to Mike Archibald resulted in the births of her three sons, Bryan, Kyle and Garth, who were the pride and joy of her life. Kim loved to laugh. She had the most wonderful sense of humor and fun-loving nature. From doing back hand springs across the gym floor, playing field hockey at PVHS to later in life encouraging her boys from the stands at football, rugby and soccer games. Kim's loving spirit was evident to everyone as the door to the Archibald's house was always open. Friends and family were always welcome as there was rarely a time she didn't have someone stopping by for a good laugh. Kim was predeceased by her son, Bryan, and father, Emmett. She is survived by her sons, Kyle and Garth; mother, Norma Moore; sisters Terry Houser and Shawn Moore and little brother Garth Moore; nieces, the Houser girls: Eryn, Kelsey & Shelby, Allie Moore, Ashley Rasmussen and Amy Deniz; nephews, Mason Moore and Tanner Dillard; seven great nieces and nephews. She was blessed with a living angel in her sister-in-law, Cari Moore, who provided incredible comfort, care and joy prior to Kim enjoying some back hand springs in heaven! A burial will take place at Glen Oaks Memorial on Midway on Fri, Nov 13th at 10:30 am, followed by a Celebration of Life and "Kim Archibald-Style" party at The Elks Lodge Picnic Area. Memorial Donations may be made to the Bryan Archibald Memorial Fund to help the Archibald family continue to support local athletes. Share your thoughts and memories online at NewtonBracewell.com
