LAWRENCE EARL ROSE It is with deepest regret that we announce the passing of Lawrence Earl Rose (Larry), on April 8, 2018; he was born July 6, 1936. Larry is survived by his wife Maria (Mary) Rose and his children Lori Pacheco (Al), Lance Rose, Katherine Rose, Mark Rose (Becky), Sallie Weaver (Charlie), Feliza Wagoner (Dale), and Jessica Fuston (Dave), his 14 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren, sister JoAnne Thomas (Jay) of Redding, CA, and his former wife Judith Arballo. Larry had numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Larry was a native Chicoan born at Enloe Hospital. After he graduated from Chico Senior High School in 1954 he joined the Air Force when he was 18 years old, where he was a medic. He loved his family and was a true believer in God and was very active with the Salvation Army. Larry loved racing at the Silver Dollar Speedway #101, he enjoyed History and the love of guns, hunting, and fishing. He was preceded in death by his sister Beth Ransom (Randy) and his parents Lucille Thurman and father Laverne Rose. Larry will be buried at Pine Creek Cemetery at 6195 Broyles Road (Hwy 99 North to Broyles Road turn left) at 10:00 a.m. in the family plot on July 06, 2018. Afterwards there will be a celebration of life with a potluck reception at Chico Veterans Memorial Hall, 564 Rio Lindo Ave, Chico, CA 95926. Condolences may be made to the family at www.brusiefh.com
