LeNan Irene Robertson Obituary
LENAN ROBERTSON

LeNan Irene Robertson, unexpectedly, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 6, 2010. She was born on Aug. 26, 1936 in Cass Lake, Minnesota, to Robert and Irene Stone.

LeNan married her high school sweetheart, Doug Robertson in 1955. They started their family in Hawthorne, CA, moving to Chico in 1969. She was a loving homemaker, later working at the Girl Scout office and First Assembly of God Church.

LeNan loved traveling with her husband, Doug. They took many trips together, including China and Russia, and cruised the Baltic Sea, Alaska, the Carribean and the Mississippi. Her favorite summer getaway was the cool, ocean air at Ft. Bragg. She was a member of Butte Bible Fellowship and faithfully created centerpieces for the women's ministry, Women of Worth. She was a Girl Scout Leader and enjoyed camping while her family was growing up. LeNan loved puzzles, gardening, yellow roses, Christmas craft faires and spoiling her grandchildren. She welcomed her newest great-grandson just two months ago.

LeNan is survived by her life-long sweetheart, best friend, and husband of 54 years, Doug; her children, Jodi and John Williams, Melanie and Doug Smith, and Doug Robertson; her grandchildren, Jordan and Jay Williams, Jeremy and Cori Williams, Kristen Smith, Jessica Robertson, and Brandon Robertson; and her great-granchildren, Logan Robertson, and Tucker and Skylar Williams, all of Chico. She is also survived by her sisters, Karen Consiglio and BernaDel Alesia; Doug's mother, Juanita Robertson, and sister/brother-in-law, Linda and Doug Reitz.

A Celebration of LeNan's beautiful life will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Butte Bible Fellowship.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Butte Bible Fellowship Memorial Fund.
