1947 - 2012 Obituary Condolences
LINO MASSIMO RICCI Lino Ricci lost his battle with cancer on Sept. 6, 2012. He was born in Chico, CA on Sept. 3, 1947 to Massimo and Delva Ricci. After graduating from Chico High School, Lino earned his BA degree from CSU, Chico. Lino married his high school sweetheart, Nina in 1967. They celebrated 45 years of marriage this past June. Following graduation, Lino took a position with Westinghouse in Buffalo, New York. After 8 successful years, he and his wife returned to Chico. Lino briefly owned and operated Byrnes Market. In 1980, he and a partner founded a janitorial and carpet cleaning business, which continues to exist today. Lino was a member of Sons of Italy and Director of Judging for Concours D' Elegance. He was an avid car enthusiast, and especially enjoyed his classic 1976 Honda 750 motorcycle. His favorite pastime was relaxing with his family and friends at his home known as Gallina Ranch. Lino is survived by wife, Nina; daughter, Adrienne Jimmerson (husband Bryce); son, Stephen (fiance Kristina); grandchildren, Kwan and Malik Jimmerson; sister, Julie Herman (husband Bruce) and niece, Rebecca. Lino was preceded in death by his parents and infant son, Jason. He will be greatly missed, as he was a kind, loving, and well-respected husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
