1947 - 2010 Obituary Condolences

Marshall was surrounded by his family when he passed away peacefully Sunday, the 30th of May, 2010. He was born in Rupert, Idaho on 4 December, 1947, moved to Chico at the age of three, and graduated from Chico High School in 1966. Marshall proudly served his country with the 6918th Security Squadron in the United States Air Force.

Marshall's passion for life included being a loving father and husband, talking with friends and making people laugh. He enjoyed riding his GSX-R-1000, 4-wheeling in his Bronco 'Snow Turtle,' camping, scuba diving, snow skiing, welding, and all things mechanical, including restoring a 1965 Falcon with his son. He also volunteered for many years with Butte County Search and Rescue. For the past 38 years, Marshall and his brother-in-law, Gene Morgado, owned and operated Aqua Pools where he developed many valued relationships with his customers.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Charlene, father, Edward, brother, John, and mother, Alta. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Vickie, son, Daniel, daughter, Megan, sisters, Debbie (Gene) Morgado, their son, Jarrett, Vicki (Paul) Ellcessor, and their daughter, Charlene.

At Marshall's request his family and friends will return his ashes to the places he loved most. He also requested a backyard BBQ that will be held on June 5th, from 4 to 7 pm, at his neighbor's home.
