Paula and her husband Randy died outside their home on Pentz Road as Camp Fire flames overtook them.
Paula Dodge was born Aug. 16, 1948 in Kansas. She was raised in Kansas City, and graduated from Wyandotte High School.

Paula was my realtor when I sold my home on Clark Road. I loved her enthusiasm, she was always straight shooting, letting you know all the facts as they were. Paula had such tenacity and such a hard worker dealing with my situation selling my property. They are together as they would want to be. R.I.P.

I did not know Paula, but my sincerest sympathy to her family. My mom lived in Magalia and lost everything in the #campfire. Wonderful stories like yours are reminders that we need to appreciate what we have, every moment of every day. I wrote this name poem especially for Paula:
P: Is for Personality, always had a smile on you,
A: Is for Authentic, someone who is honest and true.
U: Is for Unique, there's no one quite like you,
L: Is for Loyal, to Randy, when you said, "I do."
A: Is for Angel, God has a special place for you.
