PEARL "ENID ROBERTSON BRYANT Obituary
PEARL "ENID" ROBERTSON BRYANT Pearl "ENID" Robertson Bryant, born Nov. 25, 1920 in Mill Springs, MO, was called home to be with the Lord Jan. 17, 2013. She passed at home with her family by her side. Enid moved to Oroville in the early 1930's during the heart of the depression with her husband, William. In spite of only having an eighth grade education, she was still able to establish a great legacy in her community and family by starting Robertson's Market in 1948 as a small neighborhood market. She later expanded to the current Robertson's Market location, also building the Hitching Post Bar and four rental houses. Enid worked in the shipyards during the war as her service to the Nation. Enid also became an Oroville Real Estate Agent in the 1970's, volunteered as a pink lady at Oroville Hospital and was a member of a ladies group XYZ. Enid is preceded in death by her parents, William and Dora Moss; husband, William Robertson; husband, Harry Bryant; son, Larry Robertson; and brothers, Loyd and RJ Moss. She is survived by her sister, Audrey Speer; brother, Noel Moss; daughter, Frances and her husband, Ralph Byers; grandkids, Ken and wife, Lorna Butler, Teresa and husband, Jerry Cook; great-grandkids, Stephanie McNabb, Chad and wife, Kelly Butler, Jerry and wife, Tiffany Cook, Tyler and wife, Ahn Cook and Jennifer Cook; five great-great-grandkids; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held Friday, Jan 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Scheer Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Shriners Children's Hospital or . Enid leaves many memories with her family and friends and takes their love with her.
