Penny Paulus Obituary
PENNY PAULUS In praise of Penny Paulus, born into this world on March 17, 1951. Later to become wife of Jay Goldberg, mother of Tashi Paulus, Penny was a beloved teacher who enlightened many minds at both the Montessori Preschool and Element-ary School. Not only did she instill knowledge, but also confidence and comfort. She was a dedicated woman who reached many through her compassion and unique way of making everyone feel important. All the world was Penny's stage for dance and play. Folk dance, contact improv dance, movement-theater, body tales dance and move-ment set her free. Her dancing included every-one and brought smiles and wonder to those who watched her. Penny was one of the founders of Chico Cohousing. She deeply believed in the benefits of a healthy community. She continually worked to hear others and be heard by them. She strove to make this a better world, to make others happy. Penny was a friend to many, and took time to honor others in a deep and personal way. A loving and supportive daughter, sister, mother, and partner, she will be missed. Penny passed away on November 30, 2017. For information about Penny's Celebration of Life, please contact pennycelebration@gmail.com
