PETER WEIGLEIN Peter George Weiglein, affectionately referred to as Pdub by friends and family, died unexpectedly March 14, 2015 at the age of 44. At the time of his passing, he was surrounded and comforted by his wife, Bobbi, and his family. Peter was born in Los Angeles, California, on September 15, 1970, to George and Janice Weiglein. Peter was preceded in death by his father George Weiglein and paternal grandparents Anna and John Weiglein. Peter graduated from the Chico High School in 1988. Peter had a natural way of communicating with people, which sent him into a lifetime of careers in sales and entrepreneurship. Peter married his loving wife Bobbi Johnston on August 14, 1993. Peter and Bobbi began their life together in Chico. They started their family in 1996 with the birth of their first daughter, Hannah. Their family grew in 2000 with their second daughter, Bailee; and then again in 2004 when the birth of their only son, Shane. One of Peter's greatest joys and treasures in life was his time spent with family. Peter was a charismatic and charming man, who loved his wife, family, and friends unconditionally. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. To Peter, being a part of the Masonic Family was something he treasured. He was a Past Master of Chico-Leland Stanford Lodge #111, a Shriner, and acted as an advisor for the Chico Rainbow Assembly, where his daughters remain active members today. Peter is survived by his loving wife Bobbi Weiglein, daughters Hannah Elizabeth and Bailee Jo and son Shane Robert He is also survived by his mother Janice Weiglein, sister Jennifer Griggs and husband Chad, maternal grandparents Evelyn and Robert Hamel, his Aunt Ellyn and Uncle Brad Hamel and cousin Aynsley Hamel, 24 nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will be held at 11 am on March 22nd at the Chico Masonic Family Center, 1110 W East Ave. Interment service will be 11am March 23rd at Glen Oaks Memorial Park.
