1916 - 2012 Obituary Condolences

Rosalie Louise Stober passed away peacefully at her residence in Williams, CA, on March 6, 2012, at the age of 95.

Rosalie was born August 5, 1916 in Sacramento, CA, "a member of the pioneer Dutra farming family in the Pocket Road District".

Rosalie and her husband, Hal owned and operated the Williams Hardware Store in Williams, CA for 40 years. Rosalie was a member of the Williams Catholic Church and the Alter Society. Her hobbies included playing Bridge, golfing, good home cooking, dancing with her sister, and most importantly, spending time with her family.

She had been a resident of Williams for the past 66 years.

She is survived by her sons, Jeff Stober of Colusa. CA, Hal E. Stober (Kelly) of Sonoma, CA; daughter, Lynda Paul (Dewey) of Chico, CA; grandchildren, Molly Stober, Kai Paul, K.C. Stober, Nicholas Stober, William Stober; and one great-granddaughter, Abbey Morrson.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Hal M. Stober, and her daughter, Sandi Stober.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 12, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. with a Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. at McNary-Moore Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Catholic Church of the Annunciation in Williams. Burial service will follow at the Williams Cemetery.
