Thelma Warren Obituary
THELMA WARREN Thelma Warren passed away April 1, 2018 surrounded by beloved friends, neighbors and her amazing care takers at Townsend House where she resided. She was born 6-18-1928 in Canada and adopted at the age of two and eventually moved to Chico where she worked for PG&E as a meter reader. After retiring she settled down on a ranchette with her lifelong friends Beverly and Peggy who preceded her in death. They were known as the "Golden Girls" and enjoyed the country life of gardening and raising birds and enjoying the peaceful setting. She had many passions and had a pilots license and played musical instruments and produced some lovely artwork as well. Her main passion in life was for animals of all kinds but especially cats! She was a good friend to many and her kindness and caring led her to be part of the "Pink Ladies" volunteer program at Enloe Hospital for many years. Thelma was a member of Sigma Phi Gamma International Sorority for 58 years. She loved being part of this organization and held various offices over the span of years. Contributions may be made to the Butte Humane Society or in the care of Newton-Bracewell Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held on April 29, 2018 at 11:00 am through 4:00 pm at 4315 Caballo Way Please stop by to share memories or leave them at NewtonBracewell.com
