Obituary Condolences

TIMOTHY MICHAEL FRIEDMAN Timothy Michael Friedman, a resident of Chico, passed away on November 6, 2012. Tim was born in Oakland, California, to Frank and Linda Friedman. Tim grew up in Concord, CA, Cypress, Texas, and Redmond, Washington. He attended Lake Washington High School, graduating in 1982. Not long after high school, he served in the United States Navy, and was stationed in Pearl Harbor. Tim served in the Navy for 5 years. Following the Navy, he returned to the bay area, where he attended college. He then transferred to Chico State University, where he earned a degree in finance. Upon graduation from Chico State, he worked as a claims adjuster for State Farm Insurance, and later, began a career in pension consulting and administration. Most recently he was a partner in Bidwell Consulting Services, Inc. Upon the completion of his degree at Chico State, Tim met Michele, and the two were married in 1995, and later became parents to one son, William Michael, (Will). Tim had a wide range of interests, including music, gardening (he especially loved growing his colorful collection of dahlias), baking, and painting. He loved the outdoors, and especially loved fishing. He had many hobbies, but his greatest love was for his family and friends. Those who knew him remembered his spontaneity, generosity and outgoing nature. He was always eager for the next adventure, and he put his "all" into everything he did. He was always willing to experience new things, and he will always be remembered for his enthusiasm for life. Tim is survived by his wife, Michele; his son, William; his parents, Linda and Frank Friedman, his brothers, Michael Friedman, Jeff Friedman, and John Fitzgerald; several nephews and nieces, Nick, Abbi, Maggie, Olivia, Piper, Matthew, Claire, Janae, and Natalie, an extended and loving family; and was surrounded by many caring and loving friends. A celebration of Tim's life open house will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Chico Area Recreation and Park District Center (CARD Center) in Chico, CA, at 545 Vallombrosa Avenue, 95926.
