Frances Verdugo Obituary
Frances Marie Verdugo, 72, of Pueblo, passed away on May 22, 2021. She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Evelyn and Carmel Jimenez; grandmother, Aurora "Lola" Archuleta; siblings, Frank, Gregory, Johnny, Genevieve and Cindy. She is survived by her children, Bonnie (Javier) Cortez, Raymond (RoseAnn) Mitchell, Ronnie (Carrie) Mitchell, Lori (Greg) Mitchell, Lindy Mitchell and Misty May Mitchell; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Benny, Dennis, Joe, Carmel, Felix and Alice; extended family and friends. Memorial service, 10 a.m. Saturday, Romero Family Funeral Home. Service may be viewed through livestream on Facebook at Romero Family Funeral Home, Pueblo and YouTube at Romero Family Funeral Home Pueblo.

I just loved that lady! She could make you feel so welcome, just as if you were long lost friends. She had a kindness that lit up a room and a big hearty laugh! I'm going to miss you Frances...but you left me with many great memories! Prayers lifted up for her family and may they find peace and comfort knowing Frances is resting in the arms of sweet Jesus.

To the Family of Frances,
The name Verdugo made me question if this was the Frances Mitchell I knew from St Mary Corwin but I’m pretty certain it is her by the list of her children. Frances and I were buddies. We talked a lot whenever we’d see each other, about everything. I worked in Payroll and she in Dietary and I just adored her. She was always concerned about her kids and family. She was a very loving person. I also would see her at Adoration and church periodically. I was so sad to see that she has passed but I know she is at rest with the Lord. I would like to extend my sincere sympathy to all of the family on your loss. My the memories you have of this sweet lady sustain you in the days ahead. Rest peacefully my friend
