Mollie S. Browning
CHILLICOTHE: Mollie Sue Browning, 70, of Chillicothe, died 7:44 a.m. Friday, January 18, 2013, in Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.
She was born July 7, 1942, in Rowan County, Kentucky to the late Allie and Amanda Bray Coldiron. On January 19, 1968, she married Wendell O. Browning, who died May 5, 1997.
Surviving are a daughter, Sherie (Kevin) Chaney, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Joshua Gumm, Cody and Kyle Chaney and Davina and David Hayes; 6 great-grandchildren; a sister, Daisy Fraley, of Morehead, KY; brothers, Paul (Mattie) Coldiron, of Miamisburg, OH and David (Patricia) Coldiron, of Houston, TX; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Karen Hayes; a great-grandson, Joshua Gumm, Jr.; and brothers, Carl, Adiron, and Albert Coldiron.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2013, in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Phillip C. Rutherford officiating. Burial will follow in Brown's Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call at Ware's from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
