PEEBLES: Edward Benton Fraley, 87, of Red Bridge Road, Peebles, Ohio died 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, 24 June, 2014 at his home with his family.

He was born 5 March, 1927 in Bonjellico, KY the son of the late Robert Vernon Fraley and Martha Elizabeth (Jones) Fraley.

On October 10, 1949 Edward was united in marriage to Ruth (Moore) Fraley who survives; also surviving are two brothers, David Fraley and wife, Steveann of Williamsburg, KY and Gordon D. Fraley of Williamsburg, KY; sister, Juanita Sue Griffith of Williamsburg, KY; and niece, Carolyn Lorraine Clemmons of Waverly, Ohio.

His parents, two brothers, John and William Fraley, two half brothers, Albert and Robert Fraley and two half sisters, Virgie (Fraley) Taylor and Anna Mary (Fraley) Bloomer preceded him in death.

Edward was a retired Chrysler Corporation Welder and a Veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Army.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday at the BOYER FUNERAL HOME, Waverly, Ohio with Adena Hospice Chaplain Bruce Hines, Officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Union Cemetery, Denver Road, Waverly, Ohio. Friends may call at the BOYER FUNERAL HOME 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
