Joseph Blustein Obituary
Dr. Joseph (Joe) Edward Blustein, age 82 years, resident of Rosslyn, ON passed away peacefully with family and friends at his side on November 9th, 2018. Born July 16, 1936 in Montreal, Quebec, he was raised and educated in Montreal and attended McGill University School of Medicine. Joe had a long career in psychiatry, including at the Ottawa General Hospital and private practice in Ottawa, ON. Joe continued to offer community psychiatric care through the Northern Ontario Francophone Psychiatric program and Emergency Locum service to McKellar General Hospital in Thunder Bay, ON until his retirement in 2008. Joe had a voracious love of reading, his garden and all aspects of nature. He had a jovial sense of humour and loved a good cryptic crossword puzzle. Joe will be dearly missed and remembered by family and friends. Sincere thanks to all of the staff at Hogarth Riverview Manor for the genuine care provided during his residence there.

I knew him when he was practising in the city
of Ottawa. He was a man of integrity and passionate about his work. He helped many people find the right path to journey down.
