Mr. Clement "Clay" Breton, age 74 years, passed away peacefully in hospital with his family by his side on Wednesday, July 18, 2007. Clement was born on August 20, 1932 in St. Fevorice Beauce, Quebec moving to Thunder Bay in his early twenties. He was a self employed machine operator in the bush. Clement enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing on Graham Lake with his wife Jeannine and cousin Jean Paul. He also enjoyed playing cards and was known as the joker of the casino. He loved being with his family and will be deeply missed by all who knew him and loved him. Survived by his loving wife Jeannine (nee Dube); children Nicole Breton (Carlos Escobar) Thompson, Manitoba; Roger (Karen) Calgary, Alberta; Ronald (Loreiliu) Calgary, Alberta; John Rioux (Cindy) Manitouwadge; Guy Rioux, London; Raynald Rioux (Devona) Fort Nelson, B.C. ; Rejean Rioux, Thunder Bay; Gaetan Rioux (Dawn), Thunder Bay; Jacinthe Beaulieu (Roger) Fort Nelson, B.C. ; Lili Selfe (Mike), Thunder Bay and Helene Belleri (Perry), Thunder Bay. 22 grandchildren, great grandchildren and sisters Rita Breton and Laurette Grondin (Charlie) and many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Predeceased by his first wife Pauline, parents and siblings. Funeral services for the late Mr. Clement Breton will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at 1:30 PM in the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley St. at Algoma with Fr. Alan Albao of Corpus Christi R.C. Church officiating. Interment to follow in St. Andrew's R.C. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, should friends so desire donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
