Mr. John "Jack" Thomas Beaucage, age 74 years, resident of Thunder Bay passed away peacefully in hospital on Sunday, September 25, 2005. Born in Port Arthur, Jack worked for the City of Port Arthur/Thunder Bay for twenty -five years, and the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board for fourteen years before retiring in 1992. Jack loved his home and family. He was an avid bowler, loved the game of baseball and football and also enjoyed refinishing furniture. A member of the Knights of Columbus Council 9295, Jack was the last surviving member of the original "Heavy Breathers". Jack is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 53 years, Irma, children Dwight (Evelyn) of Bowmanville, Dale, Michele, Norina Sopotiuck (Steven) of Pinewood, Bill (Joanna), Nadine of Iqaliut, Nunavut, and grandchildren Danielle, Stephanie, Micheal, Peter-John, Zachary, Steven, Brittany and Rachel, and sisters Laurie Babic (Mike), Jane Junttola (Tauno), and Kathy Woodbeck (Bill). Predeceased by parents, twins Edith and Edward, sister Irene and brother Ernie. Funeral services for the late Mr. John "Jack" Beaucage will be held on Friday, September 30th, 2005 with family and friends assembling at Corpus Christi R.C.Church for the Funeral Mass at 2:00 PM concelebrated by Father Michael Ngwuagwu,S.M.M.M and Father James Panikulam from St. Agnes R.C. Church. Services will complete in the Church with private interment of Ashes to take place at St. Andrew's Cemetery immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the
