Kristyn Avella Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Miss Kristyn Avella, age 20 years, on Monday, January 5, 2009. Kristyn was born on May 2, 1988 in Thunder Bay. She graduated from Westgate High School and continued her education by completing the Pre Health Program at Confederation College. She was currently attending Lakehead University working toward a nursing degree. Kristyn worked at Joe's on Arthur as a waitress as well as at Pioneer Ridge as a food service worker. She enjoyed snowboarding, art, drawing, painting, fishing, camping, hiking, music, walking and biking. She will be sadly missed by her parents Phil and Janice; sister Leanne; special friend Josh Lyght; Nona Agnese Avella; Nana Ann Belluz; Aunts and Uncles: Doreen Graveson (Toby), Debbie Clark (Robin), Steve Belluz (Penny), Laura Belluz, Brian Belluz (Joyce), Jack Avella (Luisa), Leena Lem (Gord), numerous cousins also survive. She was predeceased by her grandparents: Reg Belluz, Anne Belluz, and Franco Avella. Funeral Services for the late Miss Kristyn Avella will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2009 leaving the Westfort Chapel at 9:30 A.M. to St Agnes R.C. Church for Funeral Service at 10:00 A.M. celebrated by Fr. Allan Savage. Private family interment to follow in Mountainview Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, January 9, 2009 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. with Vigil Prayers being offered at 7:00 P.M. in the Westfort Chapel, 420 West Gore Street at James.
