Robert Cameron Obituary

December 28, 1962 - June 15, 2013 Mr. Robert "Robbie" Roy Cameron, age 50 years, passed away unexpectedly at the family camp on Saturday, June 15, 2013. Robert was born on December 28, 1962 in Fort William, Ontario. He worked in various jobs until his health forced him to retire. Robert married his high school sweetheart, Nancy, and they would have celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in August. Robert enjoyed completing different carpentry and automotive repair projects. He was a true family man and was a great husband, father and friend. He loved family gatherings and spending quality time with his kids. Robert's favourite place was his camp and many memories were made there. He will always be remembered as a loving, social man who made all those around him smile. Robert is survived by his wife Nancy; children Tara and Cory Cameron; brothers James (Karen), Darrell (Tracy) and Terry (Lynn) Cameron; mother-in-law and father-in-law Lucy and Roger Morson; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Donna (Don) Cameron as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was predeceased by his sister Shelly (Dan) Beckingham; mother Arlene and father James. A Visitation for family and close friends will be held on Friday, June 21, 2013 after 6:00PM in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James. Interment will take place at a later date. Should friends so desire, donations made in memory of Robert to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Northern Cancer Fund would be greatly appreciated by the family.
