Robin Dee Chivers-Wilson, age 65, of Thunder Bay, Ontario, passed away peacefully at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Thursday, November 22, 2012. Funeral service will be held at Lakeview Presbyterian Church, 278 Camelot Street, Thunder Bay on Saturday, November 24 at 1pm. A private burial/interment will follow. Robin was born in Redfield, South Dakota and is preceded in death by her father, Ruben Mowry and her daughter, Leah Cairns. Robin is survived by her loving husband, Robert Chivers-Wilson, her adoring children, Sean (Linda) Cairns of Whitecourt, Alberta, and Amy (Chris) Gazdik, of Oshawa, Ontario, Robert (Jenny) Chivers-Wilson of Fort Francis, Ontario and David (Lisa) Chivers-Wilson of Thunder Bay, Ontario, her Mother Arlene Mowry, Sister Laurel (Bud) McDowell, Brother Lanny Mowry, and by her beautiful grandchildren, Duncan, Logan, Caitlin and Keira. She will lovingly be remembered by her large extended family, including Father and Mother In-law Bill and Eileen Chivers-Wilson, Sister and Brother In-laws, nieces, nephews and dear circle of friends. www.markpreecehouse.ca. This house provided comfortable accommodations and great support to Robin while she was in Hamilton with Bob during his cardiac surgery last year. The family wishes to extend their sincerest gratitude to the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, particularly those working on Oncology 1A for the tremendous care, comfort and friendship given to Robin and her family.
