Dore Gabsch

Mrs. Dore Gabsch, aged 87 years, resident of Kakabeka Falls, passed away in St. Joseph' s Hospice with her family at her side.She was born and educated in Adorf, Germany, coming to Canada in 1957 directly to the Fort William area.She married Johannes Gabsch in 1937 and he predeceased her on March 25, 1992.Her main interests were her family, grandchildren, sewing, cooking, knitting and gardening.She is survived by daughter Anna-Dore (Hans) Scheppner, son Hartmut (Nicole), foster son Dave Hauck, grandchildren Sherry and Carey Scheppner, Eric, Natalie and Simon Gabsch.Predeceased by her husband and parents.A memorial funeral service will be held for Mrs. Dore Gabsch on Friday, March 1, 2002 at 3:00 p.m. at Jenkens Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Carsonofficiating.Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family."
