John Ronald Soli, born January 6, 1940, passed away on November 7, 2016. He was the youngest of 3 brothers born in Brooklyn, NY to Emma and Gaetano Soli.
After Graduating high school, John entered the United States Navy. He enjoyed all sports especially boxing which he boxed as a young teenager with golden gloves. He worked for the New York City Department of Sanitation as a foreman of Snow Operations.
John is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Marie Soli; sons Anthony and Thomas Soli and daughter Jeanne Soli. He is also survived by his older brother Thomas Soli and 4 grandchildren, Jayda, Nealla, Nicholas, and Usha, which will miss him very much.
Arrangements are by Michael DeLuca in Brooklyn, NY. Service will be at St. Bernadette's Church in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn December 2, 2016 at 10:00AM. He will be buried at St. John's Cemetery in Queens in the family plot.
A celebration of John's life will also be held in his development after the holiday season. John was loved by all he met. His favorite saying was "Always be kind and caring to everyone."
