NAPIER
Edwin Allen, age 85, beloved husband of Barbara (McDonald), father of Mark (Kathy Smith), and Amy (Mike) Becker, grandfather of Kyle Becker, passed away October 1, 2014. Ed received both a B.A. and M.A. from Indiana University and taught at both Lebanon and Wyoming High Schools before having to retire early due to early onset Alzheimer's disease. A Celebration of His Life will be held Saturday, October 18, 2014, at 2:00 PM at Cincinnati Friends Meeting, 8075 Keller Road. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Indiana University or to a charity of one's choice. www.tuftsschildmeyer.com

So sad to hear of Mr. Napier's passing. I loved his American History class my Junior year at Wyoming High School ('74). He was intelligent, kind, and he kept high standards in the classroom. He gave me a recommendation that must have been good enough to get me into Vanderbilt, bless him. My condolences to his loved-ones.
