Marc James Reardon, III
Owensboro - Marc James Reardon, III, 38, of Owensboro passed away there Tuesday, August 7, 2018. Marc was an exceptionally kind person, devoted to his wife, his children, and his family. Born in Covington, KY, Marc was a graduate of Covington Catholic High School, where he played and lettered in football. He loved all sports. He was a graduate of the University of Kentucky where he was a member of the varsity football and track teams. Following graduation, he attended and graduated from Delta Flight School, becoming an airline pilot for ComAir. Marc was a member of the Parish of the Immaculate. He was currently a member of the management team of Erb Equipment Company in Owensboro.
Those who cherish his memory include his wife, Katie Hawes Reardon; his daughters Charlotte Reardon and Audrey Reardon, at home; his parents Marc and Susan Reardon, of Ft. Mitchell, KY; his twin brother Matthew (Erin) Reardon of Salt Lake City; his sister Brooke Wilhoit of Ft. Mitchell; 5 nieces and 3 nephews.
The family will receive friends at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. CDT Friday, where prayers will be said at 4:30 p.m. The funeral Mass for Marc James Reardon, III will be 10:00 a.m. EDT Saturday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Ft. Mitchell, KY, where the family will receive friends at 9:00 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell. Services in Ft. Mitchell will be under the direction of Linnemann Funeral Home, Erlanger.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to a scholarship fund for Marc's children at Republic Bank and Trust Company.
