Charlotte was my Drama teacher in 1972, at Austintown Fitch High School. She was much more than a teacher to me, and actually saved my life that year. I continued as an aide in her classroom through my senior year, and built a strong and lasting friendship that remained until her passing. I enlisted in the U. S. Navy in 1977, and always met with her whenever I was home on leave. We spoke often over the telephone from my home in Texas, as she spoke about her husband Bob, and her children. I truly loved and respected this wonderful woman. Ten years later, and I miss her dearly to this day.
Rest in peace Charlotte. - Les

My deepest sympathies to your family. I fondly remember your mother who was my drama teacher at Austintown Fitch High School. She was a talented instructor who cared for her students, showed great enthusiasm, and definitely made class interesting. She was also a cherished colleague of my mother (Evelyn Mahoney) who served as a guidance counselor at the high school. I will keep you in my prayers.
