Johnson
Christina Cortez JOHNSON, 34, of Cold Spring, passed away on Wednesday, October 31st, at Jewish Hospital, Cincinnati. She was a Surgical ICU Nurse with the VA Hospital, Cincinnati. She was also a current nurse practitioner student at NKU and a member of Kappa Alpha Theta @ UT (Dallas). Christina is survived by her husband, Kevin Johnson of Cold Spring; son, Finley Johnson (2 yrs old) of Cold Spring; parents, Pete C. & Pilarita Cortez of El Paso, TX, sister, Jane Cortez Montes of Sacramento, CA; brothers, Nandy of Antioch, CA, Bert of San Bruno, CA and Marc of Dallas, TX; brother-in-law, Todd Johnson of Lawrence, KS; father-in-law, Rob (Jeanne) Johnson of Jackson, WI; mother-in-law, Donna Tout of Olathe, KS; great grandfather, Antonio Galliguez of El Paso, TX; aunt & uncle, Al & Malet Cortez of Elko, NV and cousins, Alexis Cortez & Gina Hill. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, November 5th, at The Bridge Community Church, Wilder. Memorials are suggested to the Finley Johnson Education Fund P.O. I attended the same school as Christina, and always enjoyed her infectious smile and loving heart. She will be greatly missed. May God bless you and keep you at this time. May His loving arms wrap around you, and may you find solace & a comforting spirit in knowing she is resting. We will miss you Christina.

I knew Christina since 6th grade. She was always a cheerleader for the teams I played football for. She was always smiling and being the kind angel she was. She will truly be missed.

Christina and I developed a close relationship, one I will hold in my heart forever. I've found a new family. Christina will be missed but the earth is a better place because God let us know her and she was truly an Angel. We learn through death just how precious life is.Cheryl and Ed
