Cecilia PERKINS Obituary



PERKINS

Cecilia Charlotte (nee Schmutte) born August 11, 1915, passed away peacefully in Houston, Texas surrounded by family at the home of her daughter Kathleen Widup on the 25th of February. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ivan P. Perkins, founder of Perkins Bakery and co-founder of Perkins Restaurants, and also her sister, Helen M. Schmutte. She is survived by her son Patrick J. Perkins (Kathleen), daughter Kathleen Widup (George), daughter Helen Follmer, son Michael L. Perkins (Carolann), daughter Martha Kahrer (Randy) and daughter Marlene Sullivan. She was a loving mother to her children, 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Memorials can be sent to St. Rita's School for the Deaf, 1720 Glendale-Milford Rd.(45215). Visitation will be held on Friday, March 1st from 5-8PM at Thomas Justin Memorial, 7500 Montgomery Rd. (45236). A funeral and celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 2nd at 10AM at All Saints Church, 8939 Montgomery Rd. (45236). Burial to be Gate of Heaven Cemetery following the funeral mass
