Florence Louise (Seaman) DAVIDSON(1916 - 2013)


Florence Louise (nee Seaman), age 96, of Pinellas Park, FL passed away peacefully Sunday, January 27, 2013. Born on November 20, 1916 in Cincinnati, OH, Florence enjoyed the past forty years of her life in Pinellas Park where she was a member and past president of the Woman's Club of the Mainlands of Tamarac. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. An elegant and gracious lady of unwavering faith, she leaves behind her six devoted children; Carole (Randy) Wagner of Citrus Springs, FL; Marilyn Dempster of St. Petersburg, FL; Richard (Carla) Davidson of Cincinnati, OH; Janet Mahoney of St. Petersburg, FL; Donna (John) Barlage of Cincinnati, OH; and Nancy Guiler of St. Petersburg, FL. Cherished grandmother to Kelly Lasher, Jeanne Gibson, Greg Gibson, Richard Register, April Thomas, Bill Dempster, Laura Combs, Andrea Menetrey, Aaron Barlage, David Barlage and Nicole Guiler. Florence is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Florence was preceded in death by her beloved husband of forty years, retired Colonel Richard O. Davidson. Also preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Florence (Litze) Seaman; siblings, Carolyn Brewer, Edna Borton, Howard Seaman and Frank Seaman. Florence will be lovingly remembered for her generous and kind heart, strength of spirit, wisdom and optimism. Family and friends were received Friday, February 1, 2013 from 3:30-4:30 PM at the Gee & Sorensen Funeral Home with a celebration of life service following at 4:30 PM with Pastor Lynn Sayne officiating.
