Florence Carolyn Langenderfer (nee Schumacher), age 99, of Glendale, Ohio, died February 5, 2014 at Maple Knoll Village. She was born at Wien, Missouri, on October 10, 1914, to Joseph J. and Frances (Meinhardt) Schumacher. She was predeceased by her husband, Fintan A. Langenderfer who died in 1977. She was the second oldest of 5 children, and is survived by her younger sister Sylvia Dunning of Wien, MO., as well as 5 children: Rev. Carl J. Langenderfer, OFM, of Cincinnati, OH., Rev. Max F. Langenderfer, OFM., of Savanna-La-Mar, Jamaica, Robert A. Langenderfer of Florence, KY., Dr. Mary C. Langenderfer of Missoula, MT., and Rita F. Milleson of Seattle, WA., 5 grandchildren: Rob Langenderfer, Tim Langenderfer, and Julie Langenderfer of Florence, KY., and Meagen Clendenen of Seattle, WA., and Hayley Milleson of Oakland, CA., and 2 great-grandchildren: Donavon Langenderfer and Sierra Langenderfer, of Johnson City, TN. Visitation, Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 9-10:45 AM at St. Gabriel Catholic Church. Mass of Eternal Rest Saturday, February 8 at 11 AM, also at the church. Burial at Oak Hill Cemetery. I am very sorry to hear of your mother's death. She was a very special person, someone who helped others and who provided an example for others.
