Joe was a friend of our Dad, Denver, from when they worked at Coca-Cola together. We have good memories of visiting Joe when he rented out the farm house where we were able to fish from the pond there. It was nice countryside and fun to walk around. Joe was a great ghost story teller, with some of the experiences he had when living at the farm area. His dog, King, a beautiful dog, was a joy to be around. My siblings toured the land further out, and found a Native American cemetery, that at the time Joe did not know about, a great discovery. It was a beautiful place to live. I enjoyed visiting with Joe at a Coke Alumni luncheon some years back. May the strength you gave others continue to be extended to one another. Charlene Davidson

I was fortunate to meet Joe and Judy when they where guests of the Lakota HS Marching Band during its trip to Hawaii. Joe's generosity in sharing his memories of his service and Dec. 7th with the students was extraordinary, since he was their age when he went into the service. I know he made an impression those students will carry with them for many years to come. It brought to life for those students a vital part of our country's history.

I will always remember Joe, have thought of him often working with him at Coca-Cola up to his retirement. When he walked into the shop he brought a smile to your face and always had a great story to tell. He truly loved square dancing and seen him and his wife at a few fairs dancing on stage. A true Patriot, husband, father and friend. Prayers to the family and may the Lord receive him.
