Nancy & Stan Purdy U.S. Grant Home
October 28, 2020
We worked with Ken for more than 10 years in Georgetown for the Holiday Home Tour. He and Judy always opened their Whitehall home for us to have on the tour. They were just wonderful hosts for our U.S. Grant home tour.

Kenny was a wonderful, kind man, My Dad Larry Roberts worked for Klosterman Bakery for many years until his retirement, he always said that Kenny was the best employer he ever worked for. I had the privilege of sitting down and talking with Kenny several years ago at his house in Loveland and got to see his huge collection of magic memorabilia, Kenny was so kind that day talking about my Dad working for him. RIP Kenny, I know you my Dad will have alot to talk about in heaven.

I stumbled upon this obituary and just wanted to let the Klosterman family know that my dad worked as a route salesman for Klosterman Bakery for years before he retired. He had insanely early hours when he would leave in the morning to get the bread to all the restaurants but really seemed to enjoy the work. The great part was that he would also get home early enough to be around for us while we were growing up. Because of this, he was also able to coach our baseball/softball teams. His name was Paul Mormile. Unfortunately, he passed in 2007.
I just wanted the Klosterman family to know the positive impact Ken Klosterman had on our lives by providing my dad the ability to earn a decent living while still having time to participate in our lives. We are all better for that and I just wanted to say “Thank You.”

I never met Ken, never knew him personally. But magicians around the world knew of Ken and his devotion to the art of magic through the years and his astonishing collection. It is people like Ken who have made magic as universally appealing as it is today. Ken, we thank you.

My Deepest sympathy to the Klosterman family. I was a former neighbor of Ken and Judy. Often saw them in Kroger years ago.
They both were kind neighbors. I enjoyed so much sitting on my front porch and looking at their beautiful farm and watching the horses. I have missed that so much since moving away.

My wife, I and our youngest son will never forget a once in a lifetime experience with Ken. He graciously granted our request to view his magic collection at his house. It was a 'magical' meeting with a perfect gentleman and one we will CHERISH FOREVER.

Condolences to the Klosterman family and healing prayers. I retired from the bakery as a transport driver for Ross Avenue Plant. Kenny treated me like family. Picked up Christmas trees for yearly event and picked them up and brought them to Kenny's barn afterwards the event. Will ne greatly missed.
