CONNELLY
Anita Maria Dodd Connelly, 75, of Park Hills, KY, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Hospice Care of St. Elizabeth in Edgewood surrounded by her loving family. Anita was a branch librarian for the Public Library of Cincinnati and Greater Cincinnati for a number of years. She also volunteered with the Diocese of Covington, was the Associate Coordinator of Justice and Peace, head of the sub-committee for Hunger for the Diocese, a member of St. Vincent De Paul St. Williams Conference. She was preceded in death by her parents, William J. Dodd Sr. and Anita Keller Dodd; and her husband, Joseph Francis Connelly Jr.; and her siblings, William J. Dodd Jr. and Maureen E. Dodd. She is survived by her sisters, Mary Kay (Richard) Schmeing, and Jeanne Dodd (Robert Streadwick); and many cousins. Visitation will be on Monday, October 9, 2017 from 1:00PM-3:00PM at Madonna Manor Chapel 2344 Amsterdam Rd, Villa Hills, KY 41017. Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at 3:00PM at the chapel. A reception will follow Mass at Adelaide Center (on Madonna Manor property). Burial Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 11:00PM at St. Joseph (Old) Cemetery 3819 W. 8th St. Price Hill, OH. Memorial contributions may be sent to: Parish Kitchen P.O. Anita was such a dear, sweet, friend and neighbor. We all loved her so. Heaven is even brighter with her presence.

I am sad for you both and your families at the loss of Anita. I know how precious she was to all of you. I loved her too!
I think we are all happy, however, for Anita since she couldn't wait to get home to Joe.
I think Jesus gave her a big hug and said, "Welcome home, Anita, couldn't wait for you to get here."
