I just saw a Facebook "name the best teacher you ever had post". I immediately thought of the impact Mrs. Lindsay had on my life back in 1984 and how that impact carried forward. I immediately Googled and saw this. I am so sad. I hadn't seen her in forever. I loved her.

Mrs. Lindsey was my language arts teacher at Pleasant Hill Elementary School. She would read my stories aloud to the class and encouraged me to be writer, which is what I do professionally today, more than 40 years later. Thank you for believing in me, Mrs. Lindsey.
