Carol Jean (nee Carson), beloved wife of the late Carl E. Gajus, Sr. Loving mother of Lydia (Werner) Gajus-Brinkheinrich and Carl E. (Janet) Gajus, Jr. Caring grandmother of Amy Gajus and Ashlee (John Snodgrass) Gajus. Devoted great-grandmother of Quinn Snodgrass. Dear sister of Raymond (Catherine) Carson and the late Robert Carson. Survived by her sister-in-law Ursula Carson. Caring Aunt of numerous nephews and nieces. Carol passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at age 85. She was a 1947 graduate from St. Bernard High School. She graduated from the Christ Hospital School of Nursing in 1950, later retiring as a registered nurse from Pediatric Associates. Visitation 4:30-5:45 P.M. Monday, January 19, 2015 at Sharonville United Methodist Church, 3751 Creek Road Sharonville, OH 45241, where the Funeral Service will follow at 6:00 P.M. Memorials may be made to Sharonville United Methodist Church or the Christ Hospital Foundation. Online condolences may be made at www.schmidtdhonaukucnerfunerals.com

So very sad to hear of Carol's passing. I worked with her at Pediatric Associates for years and truly have many good recollections of those years......the memories of her and how much she cared about her patients is still with me. I send my sympathy to her family.

Jo Ann and I are so saddened by Carol's passing. She was a true friend, great nurse and real role model. We really loved Carol
We now live in Florida and are unable to be with you at the services.

Mrs. Gajus will always let me have fond memories of my childhood. I am glad to me one of the lucky ones to know her. God has set a place for her in heaven
