1930 - 2017 Obituary Condolences

Earl W. Seibert passed away surrounded by family on October 2, 2017 at age 87. Husband of 58 years to the late Joy Seibert (nee Terheiden). Father of Jenny Fay, father-in-law of Gary; father of Jack Seibert, father-in-law of Marlene; father of Frank Jeffrey Seibert, father-in-law of Kimberly. Grandfather of Michael, Brian and Scott Fay, Tyler and Kelsey Seibert. Son of the late Louis and Rose (nee Brandt). Brother of the late Lou, Ed, and Jack Seibert and Betty Murphy. Daddy of his Yorkies, Buckey and Putter. Earl spent his childhood years living in Fairfax. As a teenager he caddied at Hyde Park Country Club starting a lifelong love of golf. He entered the Army at the age of 21 and was enlisted for six years. He served during the Korean conflict and was stationed in Japan. He and Joy and their son Frank "Jeff", lived in New Jersey while he was stationed at Fort Dix. The Army provided his communication training which led to his 29 year career with Cincinnati Bell. After leaving the service he and his family moved to College Hill where he lived for 50 years. He then spent the last 7 years living in Liberty Township with his daughter and family. Earl spent his free time golfing, gardening, studying the cosmos, reading and watching old movies. His favorites being John Wayne, war movies and The Three Stooges. Per Earl's request a private family service will be held Friday Oct. 6, at Rest Haven Memorial Park. If so desired, memorials would be appreciated to the ASCPA PO Box 96929 Washington, D.C. 20090.
