Kenneth Eiler Obituary
Kenneth Eiler

Cincinnati - Kenneth Thompson Eiler passed peacefully at the Twin Lakes Senior Living Community in Montgomery, OH on June 8, 2018 following a brief illness. Born and raised in Cincinnati, he was 3 days shy of his 94th birthday. At the time of his passing, Ken was with his loving wife of over 67 years, Artie Simpson Eiler. A veteran of WW II, a graduate of Walnut Hills High School, and following the war, a graduate of Miami University of Ohio, Ken traced his ancestors back to some of the first settlers of what would later become Cincinnati; and even earlier to 1576 in Newmarket, St. Mary, Suffolk, England. Ken worked for Proctor & Gamble for 35 years, eventually managing the International Division of the Internal Auditing Department. He was a longtime member of Knox Church and volunteered there often, especially after his retirement. Ken was a kind, loving, generous family-centered man, and a strong supporter of his community. In addition to his wife Artie, Ken is survived by his three children: Kenny (and his wife Mary), Tommy, and Sally (and her husband Roy); by his three grandchildren: Carey, Sarah (and her husband Steven), and Alyson; and by his great-granddaughter, Coral. A Private Service will be held by the family at the Lakeside Mausoleum in the Spring Grove Cemetery. For a more complete obituary and to leave online condolences, please visit www.springgrove.org.
