Cincinnati - Mary (Smith) Armor, 83, Cincinnati, died suddenly at home on Sunday, May 2, 2021. Mary was born Sept. 29, 1937, in Cincinnati, daughter of Clara (Macke) Smith and Walter Smith. She worked in the Mt. Adams entertainment district for many years, later joining the law firm of Laufman, Rauh and Gerhardstein as legal secretary/office manager, working there until retirement. A loyal supporter of Cincinnati, Mary was active in local political campaigns, civil rights causes and social galas. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and her long-time companion Judge Robert Wood. She is survived by her son, Don Denney (Cindy); grandson Mason Denney (Destiny Boehmer); four great-granddaughters, Ava, Delilah, Gabriella and Isabella, all of Cincinnati; two nieces, Sherry Smith of Cincinnati and Debbie Smith Wagner, Pennsylvania; former husband Terry Armor, Cincinnati; and a host of friends. Private graveside services at Spring Grove Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family. Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home served the family. A Celebration of Life for Mary, open to friends and family, will be organized at a future date. Online condolences may be offered at www.mrfh.com
