Rita (Lohmueller) Engel, age 95, wife of the late Donald "Mick" Engel for 62 years. Mother of Donald (Karen), Daniel (Chris), David (Daniese), Dennis (Chris), Donna (the late David) Asbrock and Dianne (Mike) Seeger. Sister of Joe Lohmueller, Charlotte Reinhold, the late Herman, Elmer, Charles, Paul, Al and Jerry Lohmueller, Rose Timmer and Dorothy Theler. Grandmother of 18, great-grandmother of 22 and great-great grandmother of 1. Lifelong member of St. Peter & Paul Church and member of the Rosary Altar Society. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, April 6 at 12 Noon at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Family and friends may visit at Spring Grove Funeral Homes Reading (formerly Schmidt Dhonau Kucner) from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Rita School for the Deaf or St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Online condolences at www.springgrove.org.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Losing a parent is never easy, may you find solace in the lovely memories you shared with her. Nice to see she got to meet a great great grandchild.
