Tom taught me as a young man in his restaurant. It was where I learned that amateurs work until they get it right, professionals work until they can't get it wrong. He was a firm, but very just boss and a great mentor. When I saw him later in life, he greeted me with a big smile and a hug, his is a great soul. May he rest with The Lord.

Thinking of you at this time. Grew up going to Delhi Chili with my mom and dad. My dad Charlie Siefert was one of the "Retired coffee crew" that would meet there every morning. Played a lot of cards with Tom and he will surely be missed

Tom was a good friend. I would go up to the Delhi Chili and just talk and watch the TV with him. I will miss Tom but he is in a better place now. I have missed him since his restaurant closed. My condolences to the family. He was a great guy!!

Tom's passing is such a great loss to our community He was a jovial man who totally enjoyed life to its fullest. He had a marvelous baseball card collection and spent hours with my husband going through them. He even came to our house to help us put up a kitchen light. He loved talking about his girls and his grandchildren. He most definitely will be missed. Rest in peace, Tom, you certainly deserve the eternal blessings awaiting you.

Barry and I both grew up in Delhi so we were very familiar with Tom and the family. Throughout the years, we ate at Delhi Chili and remember Tom's smile and friendly greeting every time we visited the restaurant! He also would crack a joke or two in between serving customers or during commercial breaks while watching TV with his brother. When we heard of the restaurant closing, we shared with Tom all the memories we had at the restaurant over the previous 30+ years! Although the food was great, and he made the best chili, we always enjoyed going to the restaurant because of the friendly and welcoming atmosphere from Tom and the staff. He was a genuinely nice man. Our prayers go out to Tom and his family.

May God wrap his loving arms around Tom's family and provide comfort and mercy during this difficult time. Amen.

My favorite childhood memory was working at Delhi Chili and creating wonderful friendships with the Kostopoulos family. I still remember the look on Tom's face when I accidentally knocked the box of straws into the chili he was cooking. When I think of Tom and Jim, I can't help but smile. Both made positive impacts on all of us and helped me become a better young man. I am forever grateful. Thank you Kostopoulos family for sharing your husband and dad with all of us - just an awesome man. We love you all.
