James Paul -Beloved husband of Sandra Lee (nee Kirby) Agee; Loving father of Randee (Maynard) Conn, Jeanne (Brian) Flick, James R. Agee and Nicole (Chris) Helm; Jim has two surviving daughters, Cindy and Debbie from his first marriage; Adoring grandfather of Heather, Rachel, Katelyn, Serena, Paige, and Harrison; Dear brother of Carol Riley. He was preceded in death by 1 brother, Jerome and 2 sisters, Veronica and Loretta. James passed away Monday, July 4, 2011, age 73. Resident of Colerain Twp. Visitation will be Thursday 10-12 at Groesbeck Baptist Church, 3551 Poole Rd., Groesbeck, with Funeral Service to follow at 12. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery Old, 3819 West 8th St., Cincinnati. Jim loved to arrange music for church and was an active professional musician from the age of 17. He played guitar and keyboards with several rock n' roll bands and had many friends within the musical community. He was the organist and an active leader in church programs at Groesbeck Baptist Church. His love for children inspired him to hold yearly children's parties at work and he also served as Sunday school director and helped with VBS. He inspired many to use their musical talents as he himself so frequently shared with everyone. Jim served our country in the Air National Guard and retired dedicating 42 years of government service within the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). During his 42 years of service he implemented the union local chapter # 3840 of American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE). Condolences may be sent to
