LAFFERTY

Richard "Dick" L., of Liberty Township, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Charlotte, wonderful father to Karen (Tony) Siegmann, Rick (Jenny) Lafferty, and Pam (Jon) Ferber. Much loved grandfather to Andrea (Andy) Faber, Amber Howse, Sara Lafferty, and Emily Lafferty. Papa to Scarlett and Savannah Faber. Son of the late John and Darcus Laferty. Dick was from a family of 11 children, originally from Martin, Ky (Floyd County) and is survived by two brothers and one sister. Richard was a driver/salesman for Wonderbread for many years and drove a school bus for Lakota after his first retirement being a proud Teamster member. The Lord Jesus and family were the most important things in Dick's life. He was a faithful member of Bethany United Methodist Church. Visitation at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati-Dayton Road, Liberty Township, on Sunday, February 17 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Funeral at Bethany United Methodist Church, 6388 Cincinnati-Dayton Road, Liberty Township, Monday, February 18, 2013 at 10 a.m. Sympathy may be expressed by a memorial contribution to: Bethany United Methodist Building Fund, 6388 Cincinnati-Dayton Road, Liberty Township, Ohio 45044. Dick always reminded me of my grandfather, Richard 'Dick' Wills (my hero). He looked like him, had the same wonderful smile and the big heart. Heaven has another wonderful angel, we will miss him..my heart goes out to the family.
