Alice "Ali" Marguerite (nee Molleur). Passed away peacefully on February 10, 2015, along with her many vivid dreams. Born September 5, 1923 to Lea Daignault Molleur and Euclid Molleur in Adams, Massachusetts, she attended Notre Dame Catholic Church and school. She graduated in 1942 from Adams High School, where she met the love of her life, Paul F. Millette; they were married July 27, 1944, at the height of WW II. Paul was immediately called to serve our country as a member of the 102nd Army infantry. Shortly after the War, they settled in Schenectady, NY where Paul continued his career with General Electric. There, they had 3 children. In 1959, GE relocated him to the Cincinnati jet engine division where they bought a home in the village of Montgomery, Ohio and raised their family. Ali was preceded by the death of her husband, Paul, after fifty-four years of marriage. She is survived by her eldest son, James R. Millette and wife, Deborah, of Lilburn, GA, son, Daniel P. Millette of Cincinnati, Ohio, and, daughter, Amy C. Millette of Greenville, NC. As part of her heritage, she leaves behind nine grandchildren, Emily (Millette) Phillips and husband, Jason Phillips and children of Statesboro, GA, Jennifer (Gigi) Millette of Cincinnati, OH, Catherine (Cassie) Millette of Atlanta, GA, Patrick Millette of Atlanta, GA, Alexander (Alex) & wife, Emily, Millette of Cincinnati, OH, Grace Millette of Columbus, OH, Michael Millette of Atlanta, GA, Brigit Millette of Cincinnati, OH and Nathan Millette of Cincinnati, OH. Additional members of her legacy include 3 Great-Grands, Gavin, Rhianna (Rae) and Caitlyn, all of Statesboro, GA. Ali grew up in the shadows of Mt. Greylock, the tallest peak of the Massachusetts Berkshire mountain range. She often shared with all of us the many fond memories she cherished there, all of which touched upon her times with her big brother, Art and her closest friend and sister, Roma. When she and Paul moved to Cincinnati, Ali maintained her active connection with community. She was a Girl Scout Leader at All Saints School, member and librarian for the Cincinnati Weaver's Guild, member of the Quilter's group and member of the Cincinnati Art Club. Her love of the arts and personal hobbies included painting and writing and most importantly, making others feel at home - wherever home might be. She moved to Maple Knoll Village in 1999 where her genuine interest in making others feel comfortable and at ease made her an ideal champion of the Hospitality Committee, followed shortly by her election to the Resident's Council. A memorial service to celebrate Ali's life will be held at the Maple Knoll Village Chapel in Springdale, Ohio on Monday 16, 2015 at 2 PM. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Maple Knoll Village auditorium. In lieu of flowers, her family respectfully asks that you send a donation to your local Girl Scout Council, or, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
