Anne Lawrence Obituary

Anne Ingalls Lawrence

Indian Hill - Anne Ingalls Lawrence, commonly known as Pants, passed away peacefully on May 2,2021, surrounded by family and her wonderful health care providers. Born into a large family from Cleveland Ohio, upon her marriage to John T Lawrence Jr, she immediately began her own family, moving to Cincinnati, Ohio. The most important thing to Pants was her family. She loved fiercely and cared deeply. She is survived by her sons, Bobby L. Lawrence, Perry Lawrence, daughter Anne L. MacKenzie; Daughter in laws; Sue G. Lawrence, Katie W. Lawrence and Sheila A Lawrence as well as 15 Grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; Deceased family members; John T Lawrence Jr., husband, John T Lawrence III- Son, Louise H. Lawrence-Daughter and Liam R. MacKenzie-Great grandson.

Pants was known for her wit and playfulness. If you saw a twinkle in her eye, you knew she was scheming to do something naughty and fun. She loved "competition in any sport or any game". Losing gracefully......hmmmm? She was tenacious and fierce, always going "full throttle "in everything she did. She expected you to play the game, as in life, honestly and with integrity. She was a perfectionist .. Everything had to be right her way of course. Pants had an amazing perception and understanding of people and all of her surroundings, that was unmatched. She was a beautiful, kind, thoughtful, imaginative, adventurous, generous, loyal soul who touched all who came to know her and she will be deeply missed.

In Lieu of flowers, family requests memorial donations to Camp Stepping Stones, 5650 Given Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45243.

What can you say? An authentic one-of-a-kind who lived life on her terms & brought the rest of us gleefully along for the ride. Her smile, laugh, energy & so many touches of kindness will not be forgotten. Love to the family & thanks for sharing her with us.

I spent many hours with Pants planning her many parties as well as her daughters terrific wedding. Pants was one of a kind!
I will also miss eating Lobster with her & Jock, on the terrace.

I didn't know her but what a wonderful tribute! It is so well written. She sounded like a special lady; and I wish that I had known her.!
