Fairview - Frank Joseph Bruckner, Jr., 66, passed away in his home on Monday, November 19, 2012.
A native of Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Francis "Frank" Bruckner, Sr. and Wanda Bogda Bruckner. He was also preceded in death by a son, Alan Bruckner.
Frank was a U.S. Army Veteran and served during Vietnam. He had recently founded his own company where he worked as an Executive Search Recruiter while enjoying semi-retirement. Frank was a never ending optimist and saw the good in everybody. His patience and kindness could only be outlasted by his love for his family. Frank had many friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Susan L. Bruckner; a daughter, Emily Bruckner and her fiancé, Tom Canitia; two sisters and three brothers and many close friends.
A prayer service is scheduled for 11:00 am, Friday, November 23, 2012 at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian with Reverend Father Adrian Porras officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Frank and Alan Bruckner Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 1888, Asheville, NC 28802.

I had the privilege of knowing and working with Frank Brucnker for over 25 years. Not only was he the best in his profession and a close personal friend, he was a Christian. I want to express my sympathy to his Family and know that his legacy lives on. Kenneth Chestnut

I used to cut Franks hair he was a super nice guy and I thought alot of him. My thoughts are with the family, so sorry for your lose.

I have known Frank since he put down his BDU some 40 years ago. A good guy has passed and he will be missed by many in the construction search industry.
