Hugh and I, along with Bill Melton, Bill Mitchell and Johnie Gray were very close friends through high school. Hugh was a witness to my wedding to Sue Harris in March 1954. A good witness; we are still married and live in Burnsville. I am so saddened by his death and regret that I have a scheduled trip out of the area on Saturday. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for your loss. I know that many of our class of 53 classmates will be there. God bless you as you deal with the loss of Hugh.
The attached picture is of our graduating class from David Millard Jr. High School (1951). Hugh and I are sitting up high left side on the wall alongside the steps.
