Charles "Butch" Mosley Jr.
Briceville, TN - On August 25, 1947, Charles "Butch" Mosley Jr., was born to Charlie and Susie Wilson Mosley in Briceville, TN. Mr. Mosley went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 in Briceville. Mr. Mosley and his family lived in Asheville, NC from 1987 until 2010. He owned and operated Mosley Construction and retired from the business at that time. He was a veteran serving with the US Army from July 6, 1967 to June 17, 1969.
He was of the Christian faith. Mr. Mosley was an avid coon hunter and also enjoyed fishing and searching for ginseng.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Garry L. Mosley.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Pat Sluss Mosley of Oliver Springs; son, Timmy Mosley of Oliver Springs; daughters, Clarissa "Clara" Mosley Morton and husband Kevin of Weaverville, NC, Elizabeth Mosley Neumann of Asheville, NC and Becca Mosley of Charlotte, NC; sisters, Lynda Mosley and Mary Harmon and husband Joe, all of Clinton; 6 grandchildren, Paul Mosley, Lauren Mosley, Joshua Mosley, Sydni Morton, Logan Morton and Fox Neumann; nephew, Charles James Mosley and his family of Oliver Springs and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends and will be missed by all.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 21, 2013 from 2 - 4pm at Weatherford Mortuary, Oak Ridge, TN. The funeral will follow at 4pm with Rev. Kevin Morton officiating. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Oak Ridge Memorial Park with full military honors. An on-line guest book can be signed at www.weatherfordmortuary.com.

I didn't know him personally, but in 1996 I was in a hit and run car accident, that "Butch" witnessed and chased down the car that hit me and was able to tell the police the tag number and description of driver, which was a great help to me. I will never forget him doing that! I am sorry for your loss and you have my sympathy.
