God has truly gathered another angel into His arms. "Maw Maw" was loved by many including Dustin, Cory and Jordan Dalton. There were many fun times by the pool in Bent Creek and she always treated my kids like one of her own. To Susan, my very dear friend, may God comfort you during this time and give you strength. Remember her smile and all the fun times. Love you much, Lynn, Becky,Dustin,Cory and Jordan Dalton

I am so sorry to hear of my Aunt Bobbie's passing. Although I have not stayed in touch with the family for quite a while, I remember her with fondness at our family gatherings growing up. She always had a sweet smile and a wonderful sense of humor. I know that she is in a better place where there is no sickness or pain, and that we will see her again, most assuredly. May God comfort my uncle Vance and my cousins in this time of sorrow. You are all in my prayers. Much love, Cindy

To Brenda especially. I am so sorry for your loss. You will always be my soul sister no matter distance or time. I am thinking of you today and all days forward. Your mom and family were always supportive of me especially during some tough times and I will always love them for that. I will always cherish my memories of your sweet sweet mom. I am only a phone call or an email away.

We are so sorry for your loss - Bobbie was a dear classmate of my mother's and a good person. We always enjoyed seeing her. She loved her children and family very much. I hope you find comfort in this. Her mother, Bennie Rutherford was a good grandmother to my daughter, Chi and will always be in my heart as well.

As teenagers growing up in West Asheville, Barbara and I knew many of the same friends and school mates. She always had a sincere smile and an easy laugh! She seemed to have boundless energy. As adults we always felt that sense of connection that most people have with someone who shared a lifestyle setting such as we did. She was a wonderful, practical Christian and my last visit with her was at the church where she gave so much of herself and her talents. I will miss knowing she is around; but then, I know she is "around" again! My sincerest condolences to you, Vance, and to the whole family. Bob Purcell
