Asheville - Binney Bromley Miller, age 73, of Asheville, North Carolina died peacefully Sunday, July 8 at her home in Givens Estates. A native of Philadelphia, PA, Binney was born on March 7, 1945 to Edward Pomfret Bromley and Ruth Hancock Bromley. She graduated from The Shipley School in Bryn Mawr, PA and earned a B.A. in Mathematics from Wellesley College. A lifelong educator, Binney taught mathematics for many years at The Shipley School and, following, at Kent Place School in Summit, NJ. Binney was known as a loving wife, mother and grandmother, a loyal friend and a dedicated caretaker of numerous animals, flora and fauna throughout her lifetime.

In addition to her son Rudi Nuissl of Broomfield, CO, and her daughter Binney Nuissl Huffman of Greenwich, CT, Binney is survived by her son-in-law Jeffrey Huffman; her treasured grandchildren Tate, Binney, Walter and Poppy Huffman; her brother James Bromley and sister-in-law Joan of Bryn Mawr, PA; her brother Edward Bromley and sister-in-law Barbara of Newtown, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her partner of many years Alton "Bo" Watts of Asheville, NC. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 26 years Walter P. Miller III of Lake Lure, NC.

A Memorial service will be held at 11AM, Friday, July 20 at Fairfield Mountain Chapel in Lake Lure with Rev. Everett Chapman officiating. A reception will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Guiding Eyes for the Blind, 611 Granite Springs Road, Yorktown Heights, NY 10598
