Leslie Gene Bolden

Leslie Gene Bolden died at his home in the Hyder Mountain Community on January 7, 2021.

The son of the late Hughes R. and Pauline S. Bolden, he is survived by his wife Jackie and their family, sons Dana and wife Sharon, and Jason Eric and wife Kimberly, and grandson Matthew.

A native of Haywood County, Bolden retired from accounting with Dayco and Day International and the Haywood County Consolidated Schools. Much of his life was spent volunteering, which included PTA president to youth coach of many baseball, basketball, and football teams, the Methodist Church, Arts Council, and Folkmoot USA.
